SILAB’s objective is clear: trace 100% of its supplies. Depending on the type of product, it is more or less possible to trace all to the optimal level. The company works on a daily basis to refine this level of traceability of plant raw materials and favors short supply chains whenever possible.

The traceability of its plant raw materials is ensured by SILAB as a result of joint work between R&D technical and regulatory teams, and the procurement team. In order to favor multi-year commitment contracts with a fair and durable remuneration to the producer, a study is conducted on the sustainability of partners and cultures.

SILAB strives to guarantee the availability of raw materials to purchase, to anticipate risky situations in the context of the business continuity plan and to maintain its independence from suppliers.
