SILAB has turned to science to define its objectives and control its carbon impact to help remain below the threshold of a 2°C temperature increase of the climate by signing the letter of commitment of the Science Based Targets initiative in 2020.

The company finances several projects, aiming at preserving biodiversity. SILAB has enlisted the help of specialists to contribute to ecological compensation projects for the restoration of watercourses, reforestation, etc.
