SILAB has turned to science to define its objectives and control its carbon impact to help remain below the threshold of a 2°C temperature increase of the climate by signing the letter of commitment of the Science Based Targets initiative in 2020.

The company has created an in-house carbon fund to finance a number of projects, some of which aim at preserving biodiversity. As a complement to all these actions undertaken to reduce its environmental footprint, SILAB has enlisted the help of specialists to contribute to ecological compensation projects for the restoration of watercourses, reforestation, etc.
