SILAB prioritizes the health and safety of its personnel by a strict policy, enforced by the health team (health manager and nurse), the safety team (coordinator and leader) and members of the CSSCT (Health, safety and working conditions commission).

Preventive and corrective measures are put in place to protect the physical integrity of employees. SILAB provides an environment and high-quality working conditions with the aim of reaching an exemplary level of safety.

In addition to a risk map created from the single assessment document for professional risk, the teams concerned rely on feedback from the field by staff and on collaborations with specialized organizations to identify possible areas of improvement. For example, noise measurements were carried out by an external party, which concluded that no employee was exposed to unprotected noise levels.

Staff is regularly trained and made aware of risks to which they may be exposed. Special attention is paid to obeying general safety rules and to the instructions specific to each department.

SILAB employees are keen first-aiders... 83 people are first-aiders at work, which corresponds to 4 times more employees than required by regulations. A dedicated space has been set up on the company's intranet to give them all the keys they need for effective interventions.

Every accident or near-miss accident (even minor) results in a specific study to understand the causes and implement the means necessary to prevent them in the future.

Here's the evolution of indicators linked to workplace accidents:

Severity rate

SILAB pursues an active occupational health and safety policy, aiming for zero workplace accidents.
