More than forty years of commitment have shaped SILAB's CSR: from pioneering foundations to a responsible CSR, SILAB is making its commitment evolve towards an increasingly effective and sustainable model.
CSR structure of SILAB
In 2024, SILAB reached a new milestone by structuring its approach with the creation of a CSR department directly connected to the Management Board.
Its mission is clear: “to define, coordinate, lead and unite the CSR strategy transversally in order to set ambitious goals, measure impacts and ensure communication, both internally and externally.”

Under the leadership of a General Manager and a department manager specifically trained in sustainable development challenges, strategic structuring, and CSR reporting, the team works closely with a CSR committee comprising more than 30 employees.
Together, they manage and implement concrete projects under the Actively Caring program, contributing to sustainably anchor social responsibility at the heart of SILAB's operations.

In 2021, SILAB chose to structure all of its actions around an ambitious, clear, and unifying CSR program.
Thanks to strong collective involvement, sustainable initiatives carried out by the various business lines and activities of the company have been identified, consolidated, and organized within a common framework.
