CSR Vision

Since its creation, SILAB has voluntarily been committed to a social responsibility policy.

Economic, social and environmental aspects are fully integrated into all its activities and upheld daily by its teams. 

More than forty years of commitment have shaped SILAB's CSR: from pioneering foundations to a responsible CSR, SILAB is making its commitment evolve towards an increasingly effective and sustainable model. 

In 2024, SILAB reached a new milestone by structuring its approach with the creation of a CSR department directly connected to the Management Board.

Its mission is clear: “to define, coordinate, lead and unite the CSR strategy transversally in order to set ambitious goals, measure impacts and ensure communication, both internally and externally.” 

 “CSR plays a central role in all the company's activities. We firmly believe that economic, societal, and environmental performance are closely linked. Continuously advancing our sustainable initiatives is a priority, and the creation of a dedicated department allows us to maintain this dynamic and amplify its impact.” 

Under the leadership of a General Manager and a department manager specifically trained in sustainable development challenges, strategic structuring, and CSR reporting, the team works closely with a CSR committee comprising more than 30 employees.

Together, they manage and implement concrete projects under the Actively Caring program, contributing to sustainably anchor social responsibility at the heart of SILAB's operations. 

In 2021, SILAB chose to structure all of its actions around an ambitious, clear, and unifying CSR program.

Thanks to strong collective involvement, sustainable initiatives carried out by the various business lines and activities of the company have been identified, consolidated, and organized within a common framework.

In an original approach reflecting a comprehensive and consistent vision of social responsibility, SILAB has structured its approach around five strategic and inseparable pillars:

• sustainable strategy,
• human potential development,
• responsible sourcing,
• responsible environment,
• community support.

In line with its commitment to continuous improvement, SILAB has developed a new CSR program for 2030, which is presented on this website.

It aims to strengthen the company's performance sustainably while ensuring a high level of transparency regarding its commitments and results.
